Sheila T. Starkey, Esq. Sheila Starkey graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1990, magna cum laude, with a double major in English literature and Spanish. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1995. Currently, Ms. Starkey concentrates her practice in the area of immigration law. She represents scientists and other professionals in both immigrant and non-immigrant visa matters. Prior to graduating from law school, Ms. Starkey worked as a Foreign Student Adviser at the University of Minnesota Office of International Student and Scholar Services, where she had sole responsibility for the preparation of the university's Outstanding Professor and Researcher permanent resident petitions. Before joining Marty, LaMadrid & Starkey, Ms. Starkey worked for a small Virginia law firm specializing in immigration law. |
